Welcome, you have entered the TIP (Teaching Innovation Project) for a Chemical Ecology course through the University of Maryland. Developers of this project are: Emma Barnafo, Karen Hicks, Lisa Mahla, Stephanie Montenurro, John Nenghabi and Issac Rapelji.
This TIP is focused on the chemical, biological and environmental aspects of Mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are toxic secondary metabolites produced by members of the Kingdom Fungi.
The Biology, Chemistry and Environmental pages have material specific to those classes, but most of the material presented here could be adapted to any class.
Please explore the site (navigation buttons are to your left), and feel free to use ideas that may help you in the understanding of Mycotoxins.
